Arilje Raspberry final demonstrator workshop
The final demonstrator workshop within the Arilje raspberry pilot use case was held in Arilje, Serbia on September 24, 2025, with the aim of sharing the latest development from the pilot use case with relevant stakeholders.
A total of 10 participants attended the workshop, including notably a representative of the local government responsible for agriculture and rural Development, and a representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia – Regional Chamber of Uzice, as well as three representatives of businesses (cold storage companies) that will be using the tools developed as part of ALLIANCE (database, blockchain and EWDSS system).
Tamara Zivadinović (Mena Group) presented the opportunities and practical implementation of Blockchain technology in quality and origin control of PDO Arilje
Raspberries. Nikola Maravic from the Food Institute of Novi Sad (FINS) joined online, and presented the Knowledge Database, sensor testing activities, and results obtained for PDO Arilje raspberries.
Additionally, detailed online Blockchain demonstrations, including instructions and practical guidance, were organised during the week prior to the workshop to reach out to all interested companies unable to attend the workshop in person.
