ATTESTED is one of the winners of DRG4FOOD first open call. ATTESTED aims to introduce a comprehensive set of interoperable baseline technologies in order to improve efficacy in the agricultural and food production landscape. This “toolbox” serves as the foundation for a transformative traceability and monitoring system, designed to encompass the entire farm-to-fork journey. The key components of our toolbox include technologies such as Radio Frequency identification (RFID), GPS geolocation technologies, IoT and portable sensing systems. Pilot locations: Crete (Greece) and Sicily (Italy).

Relevance to ALLIANCE

ALLIANCE shares with this project the objective of enhancing transparency and traceability across entire food supply chains. Both use IoT and portable sensing systems in some of the demonstrators (e.g. Pasta demonstrator https://alliance-heu-project.eu/pilots/rapid-pesticide-fingerprinting-organic-pasta), although ALLIANCE has a focus on quality-labelled foods (organic and PDO/PGI).
