ALLIANCE is delighted you announce its final conference, A paradigm shift in the management of quality labelled food supply chains, which will take place in Brussels on 7 October 2025.

The main objective of the conference is to open up a discussion on emerging solutions for managing food supply chains, sharing the learnings and key recommendations from the ALLIANCE project while also opening up a broader debate and exchange with experts and stakeholders.

The gathering will be opened by a keynote speech from Ana Patricia Lopez Blanco, European Commission Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) and it will feature a high-level address  on the complex but crucial task of ensuring food traceability by MEP Camilla Laureti, Member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development. Guest speakers from the world of research will share insights on the food fraud landscape and the use of data in the agri-food sector.

Then, ALLIANCE project partners will present key results from the project, from the application of blockchain technology to various food supply chains, to the development of a knowledge database on food fraud and an early warning system for food fraud detection. The section will close with insights on user acceptance following the validation of ALLIANCE solutions in the project's seven demonstrators.

A roundtable with members of the EU Cluster for food traceability and trust, a multi-project initiative to bring innovation, sustainability, and trust into Europe's agri-food supply chains, will bring their perspectives and reflections on the emerging solutions to improve food traceability and increase consumer trust.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.
